Jeff Waselko Announced as 16U AA Head Coach for 2025-26 Season

Jeff Waselko, a Level 4 USA Hockey certified coach, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the rink. With a decade of coaching under his belt, Jeff has worked with players of all ages, from mites to 18U. He will be entering his fourth year with the Thunderbirds, serving as Head Coach for the 16U AA team. Whether as a head coach or an assistant, Jeff consistently fosters growth and skill development.

Despite starting his hockey journey later in life, Jeff's 15+ years of playing adult hockey at the B and C levels have honed his understanding of the game. A relentless student of hockey, he constantly seeks ways to elevate players' performance and propel them forward in their careers.

Off the ice, Jeff resides in Powell with his wife, Andrea. Their two sons, Jon and Sam, grew up immersed in the world of hockey—a testament to the family's passion for the sport.

The Thunderbirds Hockey Club is excited to have Coach Waselko lead the 16U AA team and looks forward to a successful 2025-26 season under his guidance.
