In order to be certified and meet the NCAA Eligibiity Center requirements of the school you are planning to attend, you must register with the Eligibility Center. I want to play a sport at an NCAA Division III school; do I need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center?

NCAA Division III schools set their own admissions and eligibility standards, so if you are a domestic high school student-athlete planning to attend a Division III school, you are not required to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. However, we encourage you to create a free Profile Page account that will provide you with an NCAA ID and important information on how to prepare for your Division III experience. You can transition your Profile Page account to a Certification account at any time if you decide to attend and compete at a Division I or II school.
