Thunderbirds Hockey Club would like to thank you for volunteering to be the Team Manager! Your role is vital to the success of your team and their season. Todd Foley is our Parent Liaison and has taken the time to compile as much information as possible to help you be as successful as possible in your role.
It's impossible to plan for every scenario you could encounter in your role as team manager. Please reach out to Todd Foley if you have any questions. He's here to help.
GETTING STARTED
The team manager is the coordinator, communicator, organizer and all-around support for the team. The most vital role is being the liaison between the head coach and the families. The team manager will help the head coach with the tournaments, off ice activities, administrative functions. This allows the head coach to focus on preparing and running practices and games.
Our hope is that by providing the team manager with information and resources it will set your team up for success by removing the guess work. The resources you will need can be found in the Thunderbirds Manager Google Folder. All team managers and coaches have been given access.
