ALTHEN HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT
Thunderbirds Hockey Club is proud to partner with Kyle Althen to offer a Summer Skills Program. Kyle is a highly sought-after skills coaches in Central Ohio. This Summer Skills Program is open to all 2006-2013 birth year skaters wanting to participate.
Kyle played juniors for the Wooster Oilers and Central Wisconsin Saints before his college career at the University of Akron (ACHA DII). He also served as a scout and in hockey operations positions for the Amarillo Bulls (NAHL) and Oswego Stampede (NA3HL). He has coached several teams at the AAA level and is currently the head coach of the Ohio Blue Jackets AAA 15O squad. Kyle is also operating his own skills programs and camps.
Ages
This Summer Skills Program is open to all 2006-2013 birth year skaters wanting to participate.
You don't have to be a rostered on a Thunderbirds team to participate. We welcome skaters from all the local youth hockey clubs to join us for these sessions.
When
Sessions begins 6/6/24 and will run through 7/23/24.
12U & 14U will share ice for the Tuesday and Thursday sessions. Sessions will start between 6pm-8pm
16U & 18U will share ice for the Tuesday and Thursday sessions. Sessions will start between 6pm-8pm
Where
The training sessions will take place at Ohio Health Chiller North.
Cost
The cost will be $500.00 for 14 sessions. Each session is 1 hour long. All Goalies rostered on a Thunderbirds team are free.
